Enid's Emporium opened on the 4th December 2017 by two Sisters Tracey and Kim. They began creating items to sell at markets together under the name Eden Park Creations, and when Tracey needed to find an office space, they decided to find a space that would accomodate a retail store for their handcrafted giftware and an Office so Enid's Emporium was born. They had the idea that they would also love to support other local Artisans to sell their goods and have a Giftware shop that you could always find a unique gift for family and friends. Their giftware shop in Bathurst NSW, caters for all ages from babies to adults, including Jewellery, scarves, candles, timber items, bags, quilts and artwork.
As both Tracey and Kim love and collect Teddy Bears, they saw an opportunity to stock
Collectable Teddy Bears, and they are referred to as the Teddy Bear shop on Keppel Street by many customers. Many parents and Grandparents are stopped in their tracks walking past the shop as children stop to admire the many bears in the window. Their first range stocked were Settler Bears and they have added Charlie Bears (UK), Deans Bears (UK) ,Clemens Bears (Germany) and Bocchetta Plush toys (Australia) to their ever expanding range.
The Store name was chosen in remembrance of Kim's much loved Mother in Law Enid, who was tragically taken from them in an accident in 2016. Enid always encouraged their creative endeavours and was one of their biggest fans. Enid would help suggest new ideas for items to make and was always on the lookout for items at the op shops for Kim to upcycle. Enid is still missed greatly but lives on in spirit - she was a much loved grandmother to many including Tracey's young daughter Ruby.
